It is designed specifically for mining Bitcoin (BTC) and can also mine other SHA-256-based cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin SV (BSV). Built on the proven A15 series platform, the A15 Pro+ delivers improved hashrate performance and better energy efficiency for next-generation Bitcoin mining operations.
The A15 Pro+ represents a meaningful performance upgrade within the A15 series. While the standard A15 Pro delivers approximately 215 TH/s at 16.8 J/TH efficiency, the A15 Pro+ increases hashrate to 240 TH/s while improving efficiency to 15.5 J/TH. This means more mining capacity in the same physical footprint—helping operators optimize infrastructure utilization and reduce energy costs over long-term operations.
The A15 Pro+ utilizes Canaan’s custom 5nm ASIC chip technology. This advanced manufacturing process enables the miner to achieve its 240 TH/s hashrate while maintaining competitive power efficiency. The miner also features Canaan’s in-house Kendryte K210 control chip for enhanced system management.
The A15 Pro+ features a dual 12050 industrial fan air-cooling solution. This all-air approach eliminates the need for liquid cooling infrastructure, simplifying deployment and maintenance compared to hydro-cooled alternatives. The dual-fan design ensures stable operation at full load across the specified temperature range.
The A15 Pro+ operates at a maximum noise level of 75 dB. This is consistent with other industrial-grade air-cooled ASIC miners in its class and is suitable for dedicated mining facilities, warehouses, or sound-isolated environments. It is not designed for residential or office use without proper sound mitigation.
