Generally, no — but with one important exception. The M64 Hydro is designed as an industrial miner (380–480V 3-phase, 4kW+ draw, professional cooling infrastructure). However, MicroBT’s official support documentation states that the M64 series is one of their “ideal choices for home use” because it can operate on single-phase power in some configurations and has a more compact design. You need:

• A professional-grade electrical setup (single-phase 220–240V may work, but verify first)

• A dedicated hydro cooling loop (CDU, pumps, heat exchanger)

• Proper noise management (50 dB is quieter than air-cooled miners but still audible)

If you meet these requirements and have experience with hydro cooling, the M64 can be adapted to a home setting—but this is not a plug-and-play device for beginners.

The M64’s advanced hydro cooling system is the most important feature of this miner. It supports outlet water temperatures up to 80°C (176°F)—one of the highest in the industry for a production miner.
